Posting a few random photos from the Nike event in NYC event on Pier 54 which featured Rafaal Nadal, Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka sporting their US Open Nike attire. An injured Serena Williams showed up as a mistress of ceremonies with new long tresses. Does any one else think that she has major hots for Rafa?
Normally I try to take an objective view of everything. Please take the Nike event for what it’s supposed to be – a fun frolic for fans, promotion for the US Open, a giant ad for Nike. Whatever you want to call it. So we are not solving the world’s problems, but at long last someone has finally burned those horrible pink shirts Rafa and Roger have been sporting and that makes me happy! Sorry for my crankiness, I usually write objectively as a journalist should but those of you who have to deal with the Long Island Railroad these days know what I’m talking about and I’ll leave it at that.
