(May 13, 2013) Qualifier Guido Pella moved into his first ATP Tour with an upset win over seventh seeded Viktor Troicki 7-6 (5), 7-5 in the Power Horse Cup on Thursday.
On Weddesday, the 101st ranked Pella upset No. 1 seed Janko Tipsarevic. Pella will take on fellow Argentine Juan Monaco, the third seed for a spot in the final.
No. 6 seed Jarkko Nieminen faces off against Igor Sijsling in the other semifinal on Friday. Nieminen moved on when two seed Tommy Haas of Germany withdrew with a cold.
