(December 20, 2015) Top seed James Duckworth was awarded a wildcard into the men’s singles main draw of Australian Open 2016 following Benjamin Mitchell’s withdrawal, in the Australian Open Play-off final, due to the birth of his first child.
Maddison Inglis defeated Arina Rodionova 6-4, 6-2, to win her spot in the women’s singles main draw in January.
Bradley Mousley and Jess Moore defeated Canberra duo James Frawley and Alison Bai 4-1 , 4-0 at the Win a Wildcard final, earning themselves a place in the mixed doubles event.
