USTA Partners with ESPN to Showcase
USTA Boys’ 12s National Clay Court Championships
Singles and Doubles Finals Live on ESPN3
and Streaming Live on the ESPN App
In the latest partnership between the USTA and ESPN to showcase competitive tennis at multiple levels of the sport, the singles and doubles finals of the USTA Boys’ 12s National Clay Court Championships will be delivered live on ESPN3 and streaming live on the ESPN app on Saturday, July 22, beginning with singles at 10 a.m., from the USTA National Campus at Lake Nona in Orlando, Fla.
Earlier this year, the ESPN family of networks featured a number collegiate tennis events live — including the NCAA Division I men’s and women’s team finals on ESPNU and the College MatchDay series, on ESPN3 and streaming live on the ESPN app — and now is adding tennis to its popular live youth sports programming slate that includes baseball and softball.
Former world No. 5 and USTA Boys’ 12s national champion Jimmy Arias and Steve Goldstein, play-by-play voice of the NHL’s Florida Panthers, will have the call.
The USTA Boys’ 12s National Clay Court Championships features the best 12-and-under boys in the country. Jack Sock, Donald Young and MaliVai Washington are among the players to win USTA Boys’ 12s National Clay Court singles and doubles titles in the past. Players such as Madison Keys, Lindsay Davenport, Gigi Fernandez and Mary Joe Fernandez won USTA Girls’ National Clay Court National titles at the 12s level.
