Andy Murray is officially in a slump. Britain’s great hope for a major fell to 118th ranked American Alex Bogomolov Jr. 6-1, 7-5. Murray could not buy a service hold. Dating back to his loss in the final of the Australian Open he has lost nine consecutive sets.
When asked a question about whether or not he has problem with his confidence : “No, I think it’s more than that. I mean, I played poorly last two weeks. You know, I was happier with the way that I competed this week than last. But, yeah, I mean, confidence could have something to do with that.â€
